What services does Creditview IDA Pharmacy offer?
We offer a wide range of services including prescription refills, prescribing for minor ailments, diabetes management, MedsCheck consultations, immunizations, travel health consultations, opioid agonist treatment, safe medication disposal, and more.

Do I need an appointment to speak with a pharmacist?
While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking an appointment for services like travel consultations, MedsCheck, or diabetes management to ensure personalized attention.

Are your pharmacists authorized to prescribe medications?
Yes. Our pharmacists can prescribe medications for certain minor ailments such as pink eye, acid reflux, urinary tract infections, and more — saving you a visit to the doctor.

Can I transfer my prescriptions from another pharmacy?
Absolutely! Transferring prescriptions is easy. Just give us your previous pharmacy’s details and we’ll handle the rest.
Prescription Services

How do I refill my prescription online?
Visit our website’s Prescription page, choose “Refill,” and fill out the form. We'll contact you when it’s ready for pickup or delivery.

Can I submit a new prescription online?
Yes. Simply upload a scanned copy of your prescription through our secure form, and we’ll begin processing it right away.

Can I fax my prescription instead?
Yes. Your doctor or you can fax your prescription directly to us at 905-495-9520.

What if I lose my prescription? Can you still fill it?
We can’t fill a lost prescription without a new one from your doctor. We’re happy to assist in contacting your provider if needed.
Travel Health & Vaccinations

What travel vaccines do you offer?
We offer vaccines like Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Meningococcal, and Japanese Encephalitis. We do not currently offer Yellow Fever, Rabies, or routine immunizations like MMR or Tetanus.

Is travel medicine covered by OHIP?
No. Most travel-related consultations and vaccines are not covered by OHIP. A $20 administration fee applies where applicable.

Can I get both the consultation and the vaccine in one visit?
Yes! We offer same-day travel consultations and vaccine administration for your convenience.

Do I need a prescription for travel vaccines?
In many cases, yes. We can provide the prescription and administer the vaccine — all in-house.
Diabetes & MedsCheck Program

What is the MedsCheck Program?
MedsCheck is a free consultation where our pharmacist reviews your medications to ensure they’re working well together and being used correctly — ideal for those with multiple prescriptions or chronic conditions like diabetes.
